Our Instructor Sean Potorti Will Now Only Be Teaching On Weekends

UPDATE TO POST – 22 NOVEMBER 2025

In March 2025, Sean Potorti joined West Coast Driver Training and Coastal Pathways Driver Training to teach Class 5 and Class 7 Driving Lessons. Sean also works as a bus driver with BC Transit in the Cowichan Valley. During the BC Transit strike in 2025 he worked for us full time. After going back to work at BC Transit following the strike, Sean continued to work for us on weekends. Unfortunately, he found it difficult to maintain a comfortable work-life balance while working full time at BC Transit and working part time as a a driving instructor with us. So Sean stopped teaching for us in January 2026.  We wish him all the best and we will welcome him back without hesitation if he decides that he wants to resume teaching for us in future.

Sean Potorti joined us in March 2025 as a Class 5 and 7 Driving Instructor and has been an excellent addition to our company. He is very popular with his students and fits in really well with our company.

But Sean also works as a bus driver with BC Transit in Cowichan Valley and, now that the months long BC Transit/Cowichan Valley strike has ended through arbitration, Sean will be going back to his full time job as a driver at BC Transit.
