Enhanced Road Assessments (ERA)
Thank you for your interest in taking lessons with West Coast Driver Training & Education.
In British Columbia, seniors can be called in by ICBC for Enhanced Road Assessments (ERA) of their driving ability. It should be noted, however, that while Enhanced Road Assessments (ERA) are most often applied to seniors, anyone, at any age, can be called in by ICBC for an Enhanced Road Assessment.
The Enhanced Road Assessments typically consist of a Road Test plus other tests, including tests of cognitive abilities. There may also be medical reports required from physicians or other health care professionals.
We have done driving lessons for many seniors who have been called in by ICBC for Enhanced Road Assessments.

- Two (2) 90 minute lessons – $285.00 + GST (currently $299.25)
- Three (3) 90 minute lessons – $420.00 + GST (currently $441.00)
- Four (4) 90 minute lessons – $550.00 + GST (currently $577.50)
- Five (5) 90 minute lessons – $695.00 + GST (currently $729.75)
- Six (6) 90 minute lessons – $840.00 + GST (currently $882.00)
- Seven (7) 90 minute lessons – $985.00 + GST (currently $1034.25)
- Eight (8) 90 minute lessons – $1130.00 + GST (currently $1186.50)
- Nine (9) 90 minute lessons – $1275.00 + GST (currently $1338.75)
- Ten (10) 90 minutes lessons – 1400.00 + GST (currently $1470.00)
